And with so many climate disasters increasingly occurring around the world, their work and products are more relevant than ever but how can people better understand the benefits of using them?

A robust web presence was a good start – but Geodesign Barriers needed greater visibility and a partner in digital marketing to help them achieve this.

Geodesign Barriers approached us to enhance their organic visibility and increase enquiries in the UK, US, and Australia.

In order to achieve this we would need to extensively audit their existing web offering, and set a plan in place.

One of the main challenges was growing the brand in regions where they did not have as significant a web presence but were actively targeting customers.

Our partnership with Geodesign Barriers would require us to execute an  international SEO campaign that would also be built on content across regions.

This meant significant effort to reach the right audiences, in the right place with fresh, relevant content that could alert them to the benefits of flood protection solutions and provide education at the same time.

We began with an in-depth SEO audit, identifying key areas for improvement and using these insights to create a prioritised roadmap based on impact and implementation difficulty.

To strengthen the site’s technical and on-page SEO, we optimised headings, meta tags, and internal links while collaborating with the external development team to enhance page load times. We also implemented hreflang tags to ensure users were served the correct regional website version based on their location.

To expand Geodesign Barriers’ presence in Australia, we launched an AU subfolder version of the site. Additionally, we introduced a global version to maintain visibility for users outside the primary target markets (Sweden, UK, US, and AU). These improvements provided a strong technical SEO foundation, setting the stage for the next phase: Growth.

For content strategy, we conducted in-depth keyword research for the US, UK, and AU markets, developing a content plan that included blog posts, new landing pages, and optimisations to existing pages. 

Over the course of the year, we wrote, optimised, and published content, ensuring sustained growth in organic visibility and engagement across the target regions.
